I have to admit, I have a new love. And it's name is Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I doubted him from the start, but then he changed my world! I got a free sample in the mail, and then got a box of two for like 50 cents (oh Vons sales and coupons i love you too). So on Monday night, I tested him out. I got on my knees and started scrubbing the shower. If you were near you would hear me saying "holy crap [sorry mama] this thing works! oh my goodness! oh... wow!" I was in shock. The built up soap scum crap that wouldn't go away (and we even use a shower cleaner thingie that the awesome emily west got me) was disappearing before my eyes. And I did not even have to scrub very hard. Now I do not know the physics behind my magic eraser, but I love it! The tub now looks white, something that I thought was impossible!
Now the next question... do I try it on the toilet with the ring that won't disappear, no matter how hard I scrub? What we need to think about: that means putting my pretty little hand in the toilet. Is it worth it? Sound off in the comments, please!!
Also if you have not yet purchased a magic eraser, I highly recommend it. Great way to impress your parents when they come and visit.

I may be convinced! Although I loathe sponges. But as for the toilet territory -- rubber gloves help remove the ick factor.
I have used this wonderful product and simply addore it, but there is a better toilet bowl cleaner. I can't remember the name of it but I will send it you way:)
Emily beat me to the punch. Rubber gloves are the answer. (Remember them? We had them at our house but you usually managed to get out of cleaning the bathroom. Maybe because your room always needed so much attention.)
I'm in love with those too.
Agreed--use your rubber gloves!
Mr Clean Magic Eraser gets marks off of walls like a dream too.
haha you are too funny...
It's quite sad that I did not think about rubber gloves. I think I will make a trip to the dollar tree and get some gloves. This will make cleaning so much better... I may get a multipack (and label some for the toilette)!!
A great way to clean the toilet minus the hand immersion is bleach! Pour enough in to raise the water level slightly and leave for about 30 min. Then go back and use a toilet brush (or wand or whatever) to scrub at the sides. The bleach not only disinfects but gets it white! Be careful and wear grungy clothes as bleach might get on them and have good ventilation.
Tell me if it works!
Perhaps you could try the magic eraser on your car...
a) my car could probably use the magic eraser. But it's rainy, so too bad.
b)I bought rubber gloves a few weeks ago, maybe I will get them out soon.
c) I am going to try the bleach thing soon, and let you all know how it goes!
